Youth Opportunities currently serves a population of low-income children and families in various poverty stricken communities throughout La Paz, Mexico. These families reside in low income or sub-standard housing and rely on a variety of government and private aid programs (food assistance, subsidized housing, etc.). Many of these families survive on less than $5.00 a day, and do not have access to basic services such as clean water, electricity, or adequate sanitation and nutrition.

Despite these obstacles, these families have a deep commitment to improve the quality of life in their communities.
